Improvements

List of fixes and improvements contained in update 24.5 r8 released on October 24 2024:

• IDE: Importing components is now markedly faster. Improvement related to tickets: 000407-2024, and 001990-2024
• C#: it's now possible to send emails with inline attachments even if using the TLS/SSL option. Improvement related to this forum thread.

Fixes

List of fixes contained in update 24.5 r8 released on October 24 2024:

• IDE: If a constant portion of a domain of a database field contained the character " and a document was present based on the table that contained the field, a compilation error occurred. Fix related to ticket: 002083-2024
• IDE: If an expression contained a database client function, project validation could return an invalid expression error. Fix related to ticket: 002091-2024.
  Note: after having opened the project, at least one change must be made to the application to cause the expressions to be revalidated. If you compile the project immediately after opening it, the error may still be there.
• FLUID: The setPanelConfiguration method did not correctly reset the position of the in-list fields that was retrieved using the getPanelConfiguration method. Fix related to ticket 002010-2024.
• FLUID: If you had a form with a tabbed view, inside of which one of the inactive tabs contained a paginated panel that had a static field which in turn contained an adjustable-width panel, when that page was activated the sub-panel did not widen when it should have. Fix related to ticket 002112-2024.
