Version 22.0 introduction

Version 22.0 of Instant Developer brings big news:

• .NET: It is now possible to compile applications using the .NET Core 6.0 framework
• JAVA: The JAR library of the Java framework in Instant Developer has been updated. It now uses the latest LTS version of the Java Development Kit.

In addition to the full update of the libraries for both C# and Java, version 22.0 of Instant Developer also contains the following updates:

• IDE: It is now possible to search the compiling parameters and IDE parameters using a new search field
• C#: It is now possible to activate session serialization in C# technology as well
• C#: It is now possible to compile applications in C# technology in 32 or 64 bit
• CAR: Now live update can be enabled in applications installed inside the native shell

Also note that in this version, we have implemented various features suggested in the forum and have corrected various bugs reported to the technical support department.

Version 22.0 status

As of 2 May 2022 version 22.0 is in FINAL status. Development of all features is complete, as well as all new feature testing and non-regression testing.

Version 22.0 will be downloaded and installed alongside previous versions. You can still use all the installed versions without overlapping or upgrade problems.

Activation of version 22.0 is not automatic. To change the currently active version, use the command Help - Show versions from the main menu.

Team Works server update

Version 22.0 is in FINAL status and upgrading the Team Works server is recommended.

Supported versions

As of 2 May 2022, Pro Gamma supports versions 21.0, 21.5, and 22.0 of Instant Developer.
