Version 24.0 introduction

Version 24.0 of Instant Developer Foundation contains the following important new features and updates:

• CAR: The system now uses the new Firebase APIs for sending notifications to devices (modified behavior).
  Note: as of 20 June 2024 it will no longer be possible to use the previous APIs.
  Therefore you'll have to edit your mobile applications that use push notifications, and republish them by that date, generating the code with version 24.0 of Instant Developer Foundation.
• IDE: The component export algorithm has been improved when the components are large.
• CORE: It is now possible to configure the list of file extensions that the application can serve.
• WEB: Functions have been added to remove commands and command sets from the application.

Also note that in this version, we have implemented various features suggested in the forum and have corrected various bugs reported to the technical support department.

Version 24.0 status

As of 27 May 2024 version 24.0 is in FINAL status. Development of all features is complete, as well as all new feature testing and non-regression testing.

Version 24.0 will be downloaded and installed alongside previous versions. You can still use all the installed versions without overlapping or upgrade problems.

Activation of version 24.0 is not automatic. To change the currently active version, use the command Help - Show versions from the main menu.

Team Works server update

Version 24.0 is in FINAL status and updating the Team Works server is recommended.

Supported versions

As of May 27 2024, Pro Gamma supports versions 22.5, 23.0, and 24.0 of Instant Developer.
