C#: Chilkat libraries

Description

The Chilkat libraries have been updated to version 9.5.0.91 compiled for .NET 4.0 and later.
If there are any issues loading the dlls, you need to update VC++ for Visual Studio in the correct version on the server.
Depending on the .NET version used, these are the versions of VC++ to use.

• If using the .NET 4.6, 4.7, or 4.8 Frameworks, choose the Microsoft VC++ runtime redist download for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 (there is a single download for all three).
• If using .NET 4.5 with VS2013, choose the "Visual Studio 2013 (VC++ 12.0)" runtime redist.
• If using .NET 4.5 with VS2012, choose the "Visual Studio 2012 (VC++ 11.0)" runtime redist.
• If using .NET 4.0, choose the "Visual Studio 2010 (VC++ 10.0) SP1" runtime redist.

Notes

• Previous versions of Instant Developer used version 9.5.0.75 compiled for .NET 2.0.
• Note: previous versions of Instant Developer distributed the ChilkatDotNet2.dll and ChilkatDotNet2_64.dll files. Now it distributes the ChilkatDotNet4.dll and ChilkatDotNet4_64.dll files. Therefore, if version 2 files were customized, the custom directories of the applications must be updated.
