List of improvements contained in update 24.0 r8 released on June 18, 2024:
- WEB: If functions were used that required Chilkat libraries (IDZip, IDFTP, IDNotification, Mailer, HashWithSalt) an error occurred at runtime.
- IONIC: If the value of a numeric field was changed server-side after it had been changed by the user, the value set on the server was not displayed to the client. Bug related to ticket 001072-2024.
- FLUID: Because of a regression, smart lookups did not allow for filtering of values by writing inside the input field.
- FLUID: User repositioning/moving of modal forms had an undesired flickering effect. Bug related to ticket 001205-2024.
- IDE: With reference to the change: "IMDB panels and lockable flags", in this version an automation has been added that works when libraries are updated in a project saved in a previous version. This automation resets the Can lock and Locked flag in panels based on single-row IMDBs, thereby ensuring that the project functions the same as previous versions. In some cases, in previous versions these flags could be active, but the panel did not consider them in managing these functions.
- IDE: A regression of version 24.0 has been corrected. It prevented insertion of the "adapt" value in the "Vertical Resize" field of the properties form for a report section box.
- FLUID: Operations to move modal forms were not possible over an IFRAME shown in a static field. Bug related to ticket 001215-2024.
- FLUID: If a messageBox was shown with a personalized class (cls=test), the messageBox did not open because of JavaScript errors. Bug related to ticket 001217-2024.
List of improvements contained in update 24.0 r8 released on June 18, 2024:
- FLUID: The search without advanced filters has been enabled in mobile applications created with the Fluid framework. Previously, only that with advanced filters was enabled. The search behavior has changed compared to RD3. In particular, the search cell will never be hidden when scrolling the list, and the SearchInContent property will let you decide whether to have a single search field in the toolbar or multiple search fields at the bottom of the list fields (like in advanced QBE Row mode).
